Lunch at School
You have 2 options for your child's lunch.
1. Send a lunch from home. Please make sure your child can open and easily eat all the food you send to school with them. Please pack a throwaway fork or spoon if it's needed. They will not be able to heat anything. A healthy lunch includes a protein (sandwich or meat), starch (like crackers or chips), fruit and/or vegetable, and a drink, and maybe a small treat.
2. Hot Lunch. Your child can receive lunch prepared for them by the kitchen staff at school. These meals meet specific health guidelines. Each month a menu will be sent home so you can see what the food options are for each day.
Cost For Hot Lunch: $2.80 per day
Paying for School Hot Lunch:
You can send cash or a check to pay for your child's hot lunch. There will be an account created for your child so if you send more than the $2.80 they will keep track of the balance in the account. If the account falls below $10 you will get a notice. If the account goes negative you are to pay the balance quickly. You can create an online account on My School Bucks Click HERE. My School Bucks allows you to link your debit/credit card to the child's school lunch account. There is even an easy app that you can download to your phone to add money to their account and track when and what they buy.
